GES Mission - Black Family Reunion

Date:
08/07/2010 - 11:30am - 12:30pm
Location:
Schenley Park

The GES will have a screening table at this year's Black Family Reunion at the Schenley Oval on Saturday August 7 and Sunday August 8.  On August 7 we'll do screenings from 12 noon until 2 pm.  On August 8 we'll do screenings from 1 pm to 3 pm. Glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy have a  disproportionately high prevalence in the African American community. This will be a great opportunity to raise awareness of these conditions and to help people assess their risk for these preventable causes of blindness.
