Hazel Sive PhD will be the guest speaker at the upcoming SVS lecture on Wednesday, January 27, 2010. Her lecture title is: “Building the vertebrate brain: using the zebrafish to address normal development and mental health disorders". Dr Sive is a member of the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research and a Professor at MIT.

Kim Miller, MD will be presenting “Eye disorders and mental health” as clinical background for the session.

Wei Fang, Ph.D will be presenting “Morphogenesis of the retina and the brain” as basic science background.

Dr James Zieske will be the guest speaker at the upcoming SVS lecture on Wednesday, May 26, 2010. He will present "In Vitro Models of Corneal Development and Fibrosis." Dr Zieske is Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School.

Amar Joshi, MD will be presenting the clinical background for the session.

Kristine-Anne Buela will be presenting basic science background for the session.
