Dr Alunni is an alumnus of the residency program at UPMC Eye Center and is currently the Anterior Segment Fellow for the Department of Ophthalmology at Allegheny General Hospital.
Dr. Andrew Schachat will be presenting "Cataract surgery, age-related macular degeneration progression, and AREDS" at Grand Rounds at 7 am on 2/5/10 in BST 120.
Dr Schachat is Professor of Ophthalmology and Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs at Cleveland Clinic.
Dr. Albert Maguire will be presenting "Developing a Gene Therapy Treatment for Leber Amaurosis: Practical Considerations" on February 12, 2010 at 7 am in BST 120. Dr Maguire is Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and an expert in the field of gene therapy for retinal degeneration and ocular neovascularization.
Dr Rachel Davis will be presenting an oculoplastics case at UPMC Eye Center Grand Rounds on Friday, February 19 at 7 am in BST 120. After the case presentation Dr Davis and Dr Jenny Will will lead a discussion of the case.
Regis Kowalski will be presenting "PCR Testing: What we have done, What we are doing now, and What are the plans for the future." at UPMC Eye Center Grand Rounds at 7am on February 26, 2010 in BST 120.
Mr. Kowalski is Manager of the Charles T. Campbell Ophthalmic Microbiology Laboratory at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
